PACA is a browser automation tool designed to help users automate tasks on the web, such as form filling, data extraction, and repetitive navigation. The Service operates locally on your device, and specific automation scripts are defined and executed by you, the user.

2. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your installation of the Service.

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate Laws: Engage in any illegal activity, including but not limited to fraud, copyright infringement, or violation of data privacy laws.
• Harm Websites: Overload, flood, spam, or crash any website or server (DDoS attacks). You must respect the Terms of Service and robots.txt policies of any third-party websites you interact with using PACA.
• Bypass Security: Attempt to circumvent CAPTCHAs, paywalls, or other security measures in an unauthorized manner.
• Malicious Content: Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful scripts.
• Scrape Personal Data: Unauthorized collection of personally identifiable information (PII) from third parties without their consent.

We reserve the right to terminate your license to use the Service if you violate these restrictions.

3. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The PACA extension code, design, logos, and features are the exclusive property of the PACA Team and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Data: As PACA operates locally, you retain full ownership of the data you process, the scripts you create, and the workflows you save. We do not claim ownership over your local data.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

• Functionality: We do not guarantee that the Service will work on every website or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Websites change frequently, which may break automation scripts.
• Accuracy: We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any data extracted or processed using the Service.
• Non-Infringement: We do not warrant that your specific use of the tool complies with the Terms of Service of third-party websites.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the PACA Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
• Service interruptions or system failures.
• Damage resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid (if any) to access the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
